"Before I started coming to Safe2BU, I had been seeing a therapist for about seven years. We had a good relationship, and she was there for me through some of the hardest and darkest times of my life. It wasn't until 2021, when I had my first session at Safe2BU that I noticed I never made progress with her. Maybe it was due to my age and my general outlook on life. From our first session, I felt like my counselor and I really understood each other. His guidance from a spiritual psychology standpoint has really had an intense impact on my healing journey. I have been able to reprocess things and discover parts of myself I didn't know really existed. Throughout our time together I have gained confidence in myself I never had before. I am now able to look at life through a brand new lens, and I have been given the tools to navigate my trauma/ptsd on my own. Through talking it out, journaling, EMDR and strengthening my spiritual beliefs, my counselor's suggestions and teachings have helped me to have a gentler attitude towards myself and my life."
"Coming to Safe2BU has literally saved my life in the years that I've been coming to therapy. My counselor often helps me look at life's happenings with fresh eyes and gives me new tools to work with that make it possible to take on new challenges. I walk away from my sessions feeling uplifted, full of hope and excitement to conquer the next right thing. One of the most important things my counselor has helped me cultivate is a profound and lasting love of myself. With each session we explore things I am grateful for and things that I love about myself. This was hard for me at first, but now I find it easier to identify the million reasons I am both lovable and grateful. True happiness comes from withing, and my counselor is an expert at navigating that process! I am so grateful that he has helped me see myself in a way that makes me proud, happy and fulfilled."
"Mr. G is a very smart man. I've known him for many years now, and I can confidently say he has never once led me astray. He genuinely has a good heart and cares for people deeply. I met him when I was at the lowest point of my life. I had so much to give to the world, but I just didn't realize it. He helped me see the correct path in life. I went from skipping school and doing nothing but waiting for my turn to die to where I am now. I am a senior in high school with dreams of one day becoming a doctor and helping people at even a fraction of how much Mr. G has helped me and my family. I no longer see him for counseling simply because I am now ready to start my life anew and do all the correct things this time. Though I am no longer under his guidance, I am still his friend, and I know he will be there for me when I need someone to talk to, simply because that is the type of guy he is."
"My counselor at Safe2BU is the best I've ever had, and I've had many for nearly sixty years. None have sent me home with homework except him, encouraging me to monitor my moods and behaviors. This has allowed me to be proactive about changing the things I want and need to change, and I am mentally the most stable I've ever been in my life, thanks to him. I cannot recommend him highly enough! If you are serious about making your life better, he is the counselor for you."
"My counselor has been a God-send. I searched for months to find a counselor who would even answer my calls or accept new patients. He was worth the search and wait. I needed guidance and a listening ear, not a shoulder to cry on. He listens with compassion, knowledge and acceptance. His suggestions were kind, to the point and spot on.
I'm so grateful to have him in my life. What a wonderful soul! What a wonderful counselor! What a wonderful person who truly cares."
"Our family give him a 10 star rating! He takes the time to listen, is compassionate and helps you think from a different perspective. He demonstrates empathy for your situation and is unbiased. We highly recommend him."
"I feel like I can talk to him about everything and anything. He has helped me work on myself, and I know this because I have come to realize that I matter and need to fill my own cup by doing things that show me I love myself every day."
"My counselor at Safe2BU has been very supportive of my life from the moment I met him. Originally, I knew him as my brother's counselor, but when he started counseling me I got to know him a little better and started favoring the feeling of his office and the security and freedom I had there.
Through troubles I had as a regular teen to the struggles of losing my father, I learned ways of coping and how to further understand my emotions as well as the concept of a healthy relationship. He also taught me to help myself, which I have repeated many times and sometimes share with others.
In my experience, he takes time to understand the full picture and finds out what helps most.
Through many struggles, he's adjusted his methods and tried different ways to help me understand the point of each lesson. I would recommend him to anyone who is more focused on the outcomes than the length of the process because the outcome was more than worth it for me.
